1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Downtester ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Description of Service
Downtester provides real-time game server status monitoring, outage detection, and player-reported issue tracking. The Service aggregates community reports and publicly available data to determine server status. We are not affiliated with any game publisher, developer, or platform.
3. User Accounts
Some features require creating an account via third-party authentication (Google, Steam, Discord). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share credentials or impersonate others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. User-Submitted Reports
When you submit an outage report or comment, you grant Downtester a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service. You agree not to submit false, misleading, or spam reports. We reserve the right to remove content and restrict users who abuse the reporting system.
5. Accuracy and Disclaimer
Server status information is based on community reports and automated analysis. It may not always be accurate, complete, or current. Downtester does not guarantee the accuracy of any status data and is not liable for decisions made based on information displayed on the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
6. Intellectual Property
Game names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Downtester uses them for identification purposes only. All original content, design, and code on Downtester is the property of Downtester and may not be reproduced without permission.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: (a) use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service beyond what is publicly available via RSS or API; (b) attempt to disrupt or overload the Service; (c) submit false reports or manipulate status data; (d) harass other users through comments or reports; (e) use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Downtester and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (if any).
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.
